New Symbols

Published October 1st, 2019 by Bobby Henderson

I reached out to some of our artist friends and asked them to refresh our Pastafarian symbols.

What do you guys think of these concepts?

Our friend Niklas Jansson made these:

Bomba made these:

Which symbols in particular could you see surviving for hundreds of years?

Stained Glass

Published September 20th, 2014 by Bobby Henderson

Stephan made this beautiful stained glass window.

The design was influenced by a previous contributor who had done a computer mockup of what the FSM would look like on stained glass.

I made a few modifications in order for it to be feasible, and for it to fit in an 24″x18′ frame.

You can see more of Stephan’s work here.

Bathed in the holy light of a desk lamp

Published August 16th, 2012 by Bobby Henderson

2011-11-22 FSM

My coworker, Max, made the body on a lark using the paper shredder. Weeks later, His Noodly Appendage touched my heart and helped me decide that it should become an homage to the FSM. We began construction immediately and this was the end result. Bathed in the holy light of a desk lamp.

Hydrolycus Pyrates

Published January 8th, 2012 by Bobby Henderson

Hydrolycus-Pyrates

I’m a tattoo artist in Minnesota and had a client come and wanted the skeleton fish with the eye patch logo.  I decided to draw him something similar but different and with my style, when he decided to go with the original image symbolizing the church I kept the new drawing for a future painting.

This gentleman also turned me on the Pastafarian way and I received my credentials from the church.   Recently I had the time to finish up the painting and would not only like to share it with the church.

Inspired artwork

Published November 21st, 2011 by Bobby Henderson

This is a photo of my daughter’s artwork on display at B&N in Liverpool, NY.  Not only did his Noodlyness inspire her wonderful art, but he must have touched the staff as well since her work was posted above all others.

Purchase the Gospel

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American.
